Terms of Service
Clean Vibz Kzoo, LLC
Last updated: August 2026Please read carefully. By approving your home's estimate, you agree to the terms below.
1.Our Guarantee
Clean Vibz Kzoo, LLC is licensed, insured, and bonded, and every employee is fully background checked.
Every service we perform is backed by our guarantee. If something isn't right, let us know within 24 hours and we'll make it right. We'll send a team member back out to correct it, adjust your work order so it's handled every visit going forward, or both, depending on what the situation calls for.
Our guarantee is a commitment to fix the work, not to discount it. We'd rather earn your confidence back by getting it right than by taking money off.
2.Your Cleaning Team
You'll have a regular technician assigned to your home. If they're out sick or on vacation, another member of our team will cover your visit, and we'll always let you know ahead of time.
Every technician is background checked, fully trained to our standards, and someone we'd trust in our own homes. This is one of the real advantages of working with a company rather than an individual: you're never left without a clean.
3.First-Time Cleanings
We recommend starting with a Deep Clean. It brings your home up to our maintenance standard and sets every visit after it up for success.
If you'd prefer to skip the Deep Clean, your home should already be around a 4 or lower on our Dirt Code scale (see Section 4), generally tidy and in need of routine care.
Either way, first-time cleanings typically run 1 to 3 hours longer than a regular visit while we get familiar with your space and address the areas needing extra attention.
4.Dirt Codes and Estimates
Your estimate is based on a time range that depends on the condition of your home. We use a 1 to 10 Dirt Code scale to describe how much buildup a home has, so we can price accurately and set clear expectations.
| Code | Label | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Immaculate | "Is anyone living here?" Nothing to address. |
| 2 to 3 | Light | Light layers of dirt and grime, easy to remove. You keep up well. |
| 4 to 5 | Medium / Average | Medium buildup. A lived-in home. |
| 6 to 7 | Challenging | Challenging buildup. Often kids and pets, and we get it. |
| 8 to 9 | Extremely Challenging | Extremely challenging buildup. No judgment here; that's what we're for. |
| 10 | Needs a Deep Clean | Needs a full Deep Clean and significant time to bring current. |
A higher code isn't a criticism. It's usually just a reflection of how much time has passed since the last thorough clean, and it's what lets us set aside the right amount of time for your home.
If conditions differ from what we discussed, time and cost may need to adjust. We will always contact you with the specifics and get your approval before making any change. We never adjust your bill without asking first.
We may also revisit your Dirt Code if your home's condition changes significantly between visits, such as missed cleanings, a new pet, a renovation, or a major life event.
5.What's Included
Your estimate lists the specific areas we clean in your home. In general, a regular visit covers:
Bathrooms
Tubs and showers, sinks and countertops cleaned and sanitized, fixtures and mirrors, toilets, trash emptied, dusting and cobweb removal, floors swept and mopped, rugs shaken and vacuumed, and spot cleaning of doors, door ledges, and light switches.
Kitchen
Sinks and countertops, outside of appliances, inside and outside of the microwave, top and front of the stove, fronts of the refrigerator, dishwasher, and ovens, outside of cabinets, table and chairs wiped down, backsplash, stove drip pans and grates, dusting and cobweb removal, and floors swept and mopped.
All Rooms
Dusting and cobweb removal including baseboards, beds made, light cleaning of ceiling fans and light fixtures, light dusting of blinds, window ledges, lamps and lampshades, picture frames, furniture surfaces and shelves, televisions and entertainment centers, vacuuming carpeted areas, mopping hard floors, stairways and hallways, carpet edges, light furniture moved to vacuum beneath, interior glass doors, and spot cleaning of windows for kid and pet prints.
Dusting and hand wiping are different services. On a recurring visit, blinds, baseboards, light fixtures, and high corners are dusted, using an extension duster where we can't comfortably reach. Hand wiping those same surfaces is Deep Clean work, and it's available as an add on anytime.
6.What's Not Included
A few things fall outside our service, and we'd rather you know up front than find out later.
- We dry dust walls. We don't wash or hand wipe them.
- Windows are interior glass only. We don't clean exterior glass and we don't open windows to reach the outside.
- We don't handle cat litter, mouse droppings, or pet waste and urine on carpet.
- We don't do carpet cleaning.
- We clean light fixtures in place rather than taking them down.
- We don't move furniture, since the risk of damage is real.
- We empty and reline trash cans, but we don't remove household trash.
- We aren't able to take on hoarding situations.
Mold. Small amounts are part of a normal clean. Widespread growth needs a restoration company before we can safely work in the space, because it's a moisture problem rather than a cleaning one, and our team's safety comes first.
Many other services are available as add ons, including inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, linen changes, hand washing blinds, ceiling fans, and interior windows. Just ask and we'll price it for you.
7.How to Reach Us
Text our main line: 269-567-0563. This is the fastest way to reach us during business hours and our preferred method for anything time-sensitive.
Email: [email protected]. Best for non-urgent matters. Please allow up to 2 business days for a response.
Business hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Messages received outside these hours are answered the next business day unless urgent.
Please don't contact our technicians directly by phone or text. They're in homes throughout the day and can't always respond, and routing everything through our main line makes sure your message reaches the right person and nothing gets missed.
8.Cleaning Supplies
We provide all cleaning supplies needed for the services in your estimate, unless noted otherwise. We ask that you provide paper towels and trash liners.
9.Arrival Window
We schedule with a 2-hour arrival window. Your team may arrive up to one hour before or one hour after your scheduled time, which allows us to adjust for traffic, weather, or a job running longer than expected.
10.Preparing for Your Cleaning
A quick tidy before we arrive helps us give you the best possible result. Clearing excess clothes, dishes, toys, and items from the floor lets us get to your actual surfaces, so your time goes toward cleaning rather than organizing.
If you'd like us to pick up personal items, dishes, toys, or clothing, that can be added to your service for an additional fee. If a room has an excessive amount left out, we may not be able to clean that room during that visit.
We also ask that no other service providers are scheduled in the home during your cleaning. It slows our team down and undoes freshly cleaned floors.
11.Home Access
The best way to avoid any issue is easy entry: a garage code, door code, or unlocked door. This means we can always complete your cleaning, even if your plans change unexpectedly.
We no longer hold keys to client homes.
If we arrive and are unable to access your home, or are turned away, it is treated as a same-day cancellation under Section 12.
12.Cancellations, Skips, and Fees
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule.
You may end recurring service at any time, with no contract and no penalty. The fees below apply to individual scheduled visits.
New clients, before your first cleaning: see Section 13 for how your deposit is affected.
Recurring clients (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly): a $65 fee applies and is charged that day if you:
- Cancel on the day of your appointment
- Skip a scheduled visit
- Are unable to provide access, or turn our team away
The skip fee covers the additional time required to bring your home back to standard after a longer gap between visits. Your standard rate resumes at your next regularly scheduled cleaning.
These fees exist because our technicians have your time blocked on their schedule. When a visit falls off with little notice, that's income they've lost for the day.
13.Deposit
A $150 nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your spot on the schedule. It is applied to the total cost of your cleaning.
If you reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice, your deposit holds for up to two months from your original appointment date. If the cleaning isn't rescheduled within that window, the deposit is forfeited and payment for the reserved time is collected.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, we are locked out, or we are turned away, your deposit will not carry forward to a future visit. A new deposit is required to book again.
This deposit goes toward the wages of the team members who were scheduled for your home and directly affected by the lost work.
14.Holiday Schedule
We do not schedule or perform cleanings on the following holidays:
New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
If your regular cleaning falls on one of these dates, we'll reach out at least 4 weeks in advance with the soonest available alternative that works with our schedule.
15.Payment
Payment is due on the day of service. We accept credit cards only, and all clients are required to keep a card on file at the time of booking. Once your cleaning is complete, your card is charged for your set recurring rate.
Late payments: if payment isn't received within 24 hours of your cleaning, a $10 per day late fee applies until the balance is paid in full.
16.Rate Adjustments
We review and adjust pricing based on service demands, operating costs, and business needs. This includes a standard annual 4% increase across all cleaning services, which helps us continue to pay and support our team well, and that's what keeps the same trusted people coming to your home.
We always provide advance notice of any change so you can make the best decision for your household.
17.Accidents and Damages
We take great care in your home, but accidents occasionally happen. If something breaks, we will notify you as soon as we know. You should never be the one to discover it.
We cover damages up to $100. If you have items that are especially fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable, we recommend moving them out of the way before your scheduled cleaning.
18.Gratuity
Tips are never expected, always appreciated. If you'd like to leave something for your cleaner:
- Add it to your recurring payment. Simplest option, and we make sure it reaches your cleaner.
- Venmo our business account: @CleanVibzKzoo
- Cash left at the home on cleaning day
Please don't use our technicians' personal payment accounts. We handle tip distribution so everything stays properly documented for our team.
19.Non-Solicitation
We invest significant time, care, and resources into hiring and training the technicians who serve your home. Our team is the heart of what we do, and we're committed to a fair environment for both our clients and our staff.
We ask that clients not offer our employees private work or employment outside of Clean Vibz Kzoo. This applies during their employment and for one full year after it ends.
By agreeing to our services, you understand that hiring a Clean Vibz Kzoo technician on an individual basis for private work will result in a $5,000 finder's fee, and will result in termination of service and forfeiture of any unused gift cards.
Agreement
By approving your home's estimate, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth by Clean Vibz Kzoo, LLC.
Thank you for trusting us with your space. We're honored to care for your home.
